Connect your AI assistants to Flori
Set up agentic project management across your work chats and coding tools. This guide to project management for AI agents shows how to connect an assistant, choose its access and check a real save.
Start in Flori
Sign in to your Flori workspace and open Settings → Connections. Choose Connect under your assistant. Flori gives you the address or setup command and the steps for that assistant.
Connections let an assistant find project context, manage tasks and save progress. You choose what it can access. Availability depends on the assistant’s plan and your organization’s settings. Public directory listings are still pending.
ChatGPT
Choose Connect under ChatGPT. Flori opens the plugin settings and copies the connection address. Follow the guide shown in Flori to add the connection, sign in and enable Flori in a new chat.
Claude
Choose Connect under Claude. Flori opens the connection settings and copies the address. Follow the guide to add Flori, sign in and enable it in your work chat. A supported Claude plan is required; a team administrator may need to add it first.
Cursor
Choose Connect under Cursor on the computer where Cursor is installed. Finish the setup in Cursor, sign in to Flori and enable the connection for your agent.

Codex
Choose Connect under Codex to copy the setup command. Run it in your terminal, finish the browser sign-in and start a Codex session with Flori enabled.

Grok
Choose Connect under Grok. Flori opens Grok’s connection settings and copies the address. Follow the guide to add Flori, sign in and enable it in your work chat.

Choose access
At Flori sign-in, choose the workspace or project you want to share and review the access level. Read-only access lets the assistant find and summarize work; update access lets it save changes. You can revoke the connection in Flori. Your assistant’s usual tool approvals still apply.
Check the connection
Ask: “Read my Flori workflow preference, then find my tasks due this week.” You should see your own tasks, or an empty result if you have none. Then ask it to read one project’s brief and next steps. For an update test, ask it to create a clearly named test task and check that task in Flori.
Keep work updated
Enable Keep work updated in Flori’s assistant settings and give the assistant update access. Use the standing instruction provided there. Confirm progress in Saved from your assistants or Agent activity. A connected badge alone does not prove anything was saved.
If setup fails
Check that your assistant account allows custom connections. If it can read but cannot update, review the access you granted and reconnect if needed. If a save is uncertain, check Flori before asking the assistant to repeat it. Get help connecting.
Choose the smallest useful access
- Create a test project before connecting. Add a brief and a task with a clear completion condition.
- Use Read only when you want summaries. Choose Read and update tasks when you want the assistant to create tasks or save outcomes.
- On the Flori consent screen, select the intended workspace and, where appropriate, one project. A missing project can be an access choice rather than a search failure.
- Run the read test first, then explicitly request a test save if you granted update access. Check the website before trusting the result.
- Disconnect from Flori’s Connections controls when the project handoff is over. Disconnecting stops future access but does not erase information already shared with the assistant.
OpenAI says “Account and workspace policies apply”. Source checked October 16, 2026.
Your assistant’s app controls which connections you can add and when it can use them. The access you choose in Flori limits which projects the assistant can see and change. Keep work updated is a preference for saving relevant outcomes; it cannot bypass either set of controls. Avoid granting a whole workspace merely to work around an incorrectly selected project.
