A task manager for Cursor
Bring agentic project management into Cursor with the brief and decisions behind the code. Flori provides project management for AI agents by keeping that context with the task, ready for your next coding session.
Cursor can read and update the Flori projects you choose to share. Start from Flori’s connection settings; a public marketplace listing is not required.
Connect Cursor
- Create or sign in to your Flori workspace.
- In Flori, open Settings → Connections. Under Cursor, choose Connect to open setup in Cursor.
- Sign in to Flori when prompted. Choose the workspace or project and review the access you want to allow.
- Enable Flori for your agent and ask it to find your Flori tasks due this week.
Open Flori in a browser on the computer where Cursor is installed. If Cursor does not open, use the connection help.
At Flori sign-in, choose the workspace or project you want to share and review the access level. Read-only access lets the assistant find and summarize work; update access lets it save changes. You can revoke the connection in Flori. Your assistant’s usual tool approvals still apply.
Check the connection
Ask: “Read my Flori workflow preference, then find my tasks due this week.” You should see your own tasks, or an empty result if you have none. Then ask it to read one project’s brief and next steps. For an update test, ask it to create a clearly named test task and check that task in Flori.
Keep work updated
Enable Keep work updated in Flori’s assistant settings and give the assistant update access. Use the standing instruction provided there. Confirm progress in Saved from your assistants or Agent activity. A connected badge alone does not prove anything was saved.
Optional progress checks
The Cursor setup package can check for missing saves when work ends. Its README explains how to add it to your project without replacing existing setup. For cloud work, the package must be included in the project. An initial read-only session will not run those checks.
Your usual approvals still apply. Check a completed session’s save in Flori before relying on automatic updates.
If the Connect link does not open Cursor
The Flori button opens a Cursor install link containing the connection address. It needs a browser that can launch the installed editor. If it does not open, copy the address from Flori’s connection page and add it in Cursor’s connection settings, then finish Flori sign-in. The install link itself does not copy the address. For advanced setup, use the developer reference.
Cursor says “Check what data and APIs the server will access”. Source checked October 16, 2026.
The address alone is public; your account access comes from the separate sign-in. If a project is missing, check which workspace and project you selected during sign-in. Reconnect with the intended access rather than copying private task notes into a public repository.
Try a code review handoff
- In Flori, create a task with the repository link, the change you want and the review criteria.
- Ask Cursor to read that specific task and explain the criteria before editing.
- After the work, ask it to save the changed files or commit link, the checks it actually ran and any unresolved issue.
- Read the saved result in Flori and start a new Cursor session. Ask for the next unresolved step without pasting the previous conversation.
Keep source code in your repository and a concise result in Flori. The connection does not grant Cursor repository permissions, run tests for you or prove a change is correct. The optional progress checks above must be installed in the project; they do not run during an initial read-only cloud session.
