Connect Gemini CLI to your project board

Use Gemini CLI to read the project record and save agreed progress back to Flori.

Set up Gemini

Connect Gemini

  1. Use Gemini CLI on your computer. Copy the command below and run it in your terminal.
  2. Start Gemini CLI and follow its Flori sign-in prompt. If it does not appear, use the manual sign-in step below.
  3. Return to Gemini CLI and ask it to read your Flori projects.

This setup is for Gemini CLI. A custom Flori connection in the regular Gemini app has not been verified; use another supported assistant if you do not use the CLI.

Terminal command

gemini mcp add flori https://useflori.com/mcp --transport http

At sign-in, review the workspace, project, and access level. You can choose read-only access and revoke the connection in Flori.

Try a first request

Read my Flori workflow preference and the project brief. Find the next agreed task, then save the outcome and next step to Flori.

Open the saved task in Flori to check the result. Your assistant needs update access to save; read-only access can only read.

One project record, across your work

Flori brings agentic project management to a shared project record: project management for AI agents and the people who review their work.

Questions

Is this a connection for the regular Gemini app?

This guide is for Gemini CLI. A custom Flori connection in the regular Gemini app has not been verified. Choose another supported assistant if you do not use the CLI.

What does Flori keep?

Flori keeps the project brief, tasks, decisions, and results that you or an authorized assistant save. A connection does not import unrelated conversations or guarantee that every chat saves an update.

How can I check that work was saved?

Open the task or saved activity in Flori and compare the result with what you agreed. A copied prompt or an assistant saying “done” is not proof of a saved change.
