How do I connect the official Salesforce MCP server to Claude?

Copy the server address from Salesforce's own documentation. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, choose Add, then Add custom connector, paste the address and sign in to Salesforce. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http salesforce <address>.
